A specific reference, not a universal chart
Prusa's published guide lists PLA/rPLA at 45°C for six hours, PETG at 55°C for six hours, TPU at 60°C for four to six hours and PA11 Carbon Fiber at 90°C for six hours. These are examples from that source; do not transfer them automatically to a different brand, blend or spool.
Turn the recipe into a buying requirement
Enter the instructed temperature in the finder, then specify how many spools need that process at once. If the product uses power levels instead of a numeric setpoint, check the manufacturer's material guidance manually. A published maximum equal to your requirement only passes the first screen; it does not establish temperature uniformity.
Check the spool separately
Prusa documents different heat limits and handling for different spool generations. The filament and its reel are separate constraints. Identify the reel you actually have before drying, particularly with older cardboard-core spools or third-party refills.
When nothing matches
A no-match result is useful. Recheck the source instructions, compare specialist equipment or change the batch plan. Do not lower the required temperature in the finder just to obtain a recommendation. A dryer that cannot follow the material's process is not made suitable by a longer marketing list of compatible polymers.
Why a temperature chart needs a source
A useful chart identifies the material maker, exact product or family, recommended temperature and duration. It also keeps reel restrictions visible. A generic nylon row can hide substantial differences between blends. The examples below come from one manufacturer’s instructions and are a starting point for checking that manufacturer’s products, not permission to apply the same settings to every polymer with a similar name.
What to record when comparing cycles
Record the exact material, reel, dryer revision, requested settings, load, room conditions and timing. If you measure energy or temperature, identify the instrument and measurement location. A sensor reading close to the heater does not describe every part of a loaded spool. Use the printable measurement log to keep observations separate from assumptions.
