When to consider it

Shortlist SH03 for two groups of reels requiring independent drying schedules. Its published four-spool arrangement and 85°C ceiling put it in the same requirements comparison as SpacePi X4 and SUNLU S4 Pro. That makes delivered cost, reel clearance and the controls more useful buying questions than simply choosing the largest temperature number.

Check before ordering

Sovol specifies four reels no wider than 70 mm each, or two no wider than 150 mm. Confirm the full reel envelope as well as width. The page lists a 45–85°C work range, separate from the 0–99°C display range. It also contains conflicting heater text lower down; this profile uses the model-specific 400W specification only as a rating, not an energy measurement.

The 0–99°C display range is not its working range; the specification lists 45–85°C.

Alternatives worth comparing

Compare X4 and S4 Pro for the same two-zone job. The standard S4 uses one shared setting. Tetras offers four independent compartments but requires compatible AMS equipment and has a lower 65°C ceiling.
