Creality comparison

Creality Space Pi vs V2 Plus vs X4: which size fits?

The main upgrade is the kind of batch you can run: one reel, two on a shared schedule, or two separately controlled groups.

Published specifications; exact regional listing and revision still matter.

Choose the single-spool Space Pi for a single-reel queue

Start with how many reels you genuinely prepare at once. If most projects consume one reel and you can dry the next one later, the original Space Pi keeps the decision focused on the material instructions, the control interface and physical clearance. Its 70°C ceiling does not say how quickly a loaded reel reaches the required condition. Compare measured tests only when the material, load and cycle are comparable.

Choose V2 Plus for two reels that share a recipe

The V2 Plus adds a second spool position. That is useful for preparing a two-colour job or two reels of the same material together, provided both exact products permit the same process. Two reels are not two independently selected temperatures. If one material needs a lower setting, plan separate cycles or a genuinely divided dryer rather than averaging their instructions. Its published ceiling is 75°C. Older Plus documentation lists 70°C, so check the revision on the actual unit.

Choose X4 when two schedules matter

X4 has two independently controlled chambers and a published 85°C ceiling. Those are separate benefits: a four-reel batch with identical requirements might need capacity without needing two zones. Conversely, two incompatible recipes may justify divided chambers even when every spool position is not occupied. Check how your reel widths fit each chamber before treating nominal capacity as usable capacity.

Compare the complete regional purchase

The V2 Plus was sold out on the official US page when checked on 13 September 2026. Verify your regional listing before treating it as an available purchase. For X4, Creality says PTFE tube is not included in the standard product. Add any needed tubes and accessories to your comparison, and confirm voltage, plug and returns. X4L is a separate model outside this three-way comparison.
