Start with the job you need to do
There is no single best filament dryer for every material and printer. These are specification-based starting points from the models covered here; they are not measured performance awards.
- One spool at a time: Creality Space Pi — compare its 45–70°C range with the SUNLU S2 and knob-controlled EIBOS Easdry. Check the exact material recipe and reel dimensions.
- Two spools with one schedule: Sovol SH02 — compare its 40–70°C range with Space Pi Plus and the 80°C Polyphemus option. The two reels share a temperature setting.
- Drying plus removable storage: Polymaker PolyDryer — compare a complete dock-and-box bundle. A box-only price does not include the powered drying dock.
- Four spools with one schedule: SUNLU S4 — consider a shared chamber when every spool can use the same conditions. Four positions do not provide four separate recipes.
- Two groups with different schedules: Creality SpacePi X4 — compare its two chambers and 45–85°C range with SUNLU S4 Pro and Sovol SH03. Confirm spool fit, included accessories and delivered price.
- Four separately controlled compartments: EIBOS Tetras — an add-on for compatible Bambu AMS equipment, with four independent chambers and a 65°C ceiling. It is not a complete standalone dryer.
- A material requiring more than 85°C: SUNLU E2 — the published 110°C ceiling keeps it in this shortlist when lower ceilings rule other units out. Reel temperature limits and the exact process still govern.
- A compatible Bambu workflow: Bambu AMS 2 Pro — consider integration only after confirming the printer, firmware, power and accessory requirements. Its published drying ceiling is 65°C.

What a match means
A match meets the filters using published data. It is not a declaration that the product has been tested, is the best value, or will fit every spool. PolyDryer uses power levels and is shown for manual review when a temperature is entered.
The printer-system category includes both a complete material system and an AMS add-on; each requires a separate equipment and accessory check. Nominal spool counts are not a universal dimensional standard.
